Printing & File Supply FAQ

We provide both digital and offset printing, depending on your project’s quantity, size, and turnaround needs. Digital printing is ideal for short runs and quick turnarounds, while offset printing is best for large quantities and color consistency.

Standard jobs are completed within 3–5 business days after proof approval. Rush services may be available depending on workload and job complexity.

Yes. We always provide a digital PDF proof for review before proceeding. For colour-critical jobs, we can also produce a hard copy proof upon request.

Absolutely. Our design team can assist with layout, branding, and preparing your files to meet print specifications.

We offer a range of coated and uncoated stocks in various weights (80gsm to 350gsm), along with lamination, spot UV, foiling, and embossing options.

Supplying Print-Ready Files

We recommend PDF (Press-Ready, CMYK, 300 dpi) as the preferred format. We also accept AI, EPS, PSD, INDD, and TIFF files, but please include all linked images and fonts.

Images should be at least 300 dpi (dots per inch) at final print size. Lower-resolution images may appear pixelated or blurry when printed.

Always supply files in CMYK color mode. RGB colours may shift when converted for printing.

  • Bleed: Extend background images or colours 3mm beyond the trim edge to avoid white borders.

  • Trim: The final cut size of your printed piece.

  • Safe area: Keep all text and logos at least 3mm inside the trim edge to prevent accidental trimming.

Yes, please include crop marks to indicate the trim area. This helps ensure your print is cut precisely.

Embed or outline all fonts before saving your file to prevent font substitution or layout shifts.

Yes, but export them as PDFs before submission. These programs are not optimized for print production, and exporting as PDF helps maintain layout and color integrity.

Use clear, descriptive filenames, such as Company_Brochure_A4_PrintReady.pdf to help us identify your project quickly.

For files over 20MB, please use a file transfer service like WeTransfer, Dropbox, or Google Drive. Include your name and job reference in the upload.

Yes, we perform a preflight check for resolution, bleeds, and colour mode. If we find issues, we’ll contact you before proceeding.

Color & Proofing

Not exactly. Screens use RGB light, while printing uses CMYK inks, so colours may vary slightly. For colour-critical projects, request a hard proof.
